Wario and Waluigi - Wario Bros Saluteby *BoKaier

A quick piece of fan art. I've loved Waluigi forever, 1) because he was the best character in Mario Tennis 64, 2) he's tall (I'm tall), 3) because I'm a nintendo dork, 4) because I dressed as him for Halloween with my buddy a few years back.

No hidden messages to speak of - practicing my style, figured I'd make something people would like. And yes, I took liberties with Waluigi's appearance. I could have drawn him textbook (Wario veered more that way), but this way was more fun.

Waluigi was the villain in a gameboy title. Waluigi showed up some time later to be Waluigi's partner in the Mario party and Mario sports games. First time I remember him was Mario Tennis for the N64,

Yeah, I remember seeing the Warioland title for a gameboy game (and later a N64 game too) quite a few years ago. I guess Nintendo thought that Bowser would become a tired enemy for Mario, so they created Wario and Waluigi.
